About this conversion

With a chromo frame and decent spec componentry…. the Marin Pine Mountain was a pretty much perfect candidate for conversion.

This one had a Large frame which would handle pretty much any battery.

Kitted out with the BBSHD this made a great, trail shredding hard tail MTB.

Extra parts and modifications used for this conversion

Motor Fitment

Motor fitted well however required 4mm of drive side spacing for the motor to clear the chainstay, and 6mm spacer + washers to accommodate on the clamping side.

Battery

DP6 battery mounted to the bottle cage mounts(nice central position for mounts). Plenty of room for larger battery also.

Drivetrain

Lekkie BlingRing 42T Pro package was fitted, one 2mm BlingRing spacer for chainstay clearance. Would work with standard sprocket, however driveline would be very wide.
