Great long travel candidate for a conversion, the Coilair is a unique bike that was highly spec’d in it’s day. With a conversion kit and all the aftermarket Lekkie parts fitted this beast eats up any trail in it’s path!
Motor Fitment
To get the motor to fit I had to file down the ISCG chain-guide mounts. I fitted 2x 1mm BB spacers to clear the chain-stay and roughly 10mm of washers on the non drive side to fit the mounting plate. Lekkie Onenut fitted to lock the motor in place.
Battery Fitment
Couldn’t quite for the battery in the front triangle so installed a few rivnuts on the underside of the downtube for the battery to mount to.
