Built this rig for an elderly customer who lived his sons long travel conversion that he decided he needed one too. Coming from a dirt bike background he wasn’t a afraid of some power and wanted a plush bike to go exploring on. So we sourced a Pivot Phoenix and it was a great candidate. Required some extra mod’s to the frame but came out great in the end.
Motor Fitment
The BB is 83mm threaded threw a curve ball. We custom machined a 20mm motor extender and welded it to the motor to fit it to the frame. It required some spacers between the plate and motor but the motor was hard up against the end of the frame. Had to grind off the ISCG mounts. Then added a Lekkie Axle Extender to finish off the motor mounting.
Battery
We mounted a DP 24ah under the downtube with four rivnuts.
Drivetrain
Lekkie Bling Ring 01/02 40T was fitted and required no spacers. Perfect chain-line.
