Pretty straight forward conversion for a recumbent bike. Minor mod’s for the battery to fit and some custom parts made to help with display mounting, chain guiding and cable duct.
Motor Fitment
Straight forward motor fitment. Needed some extension cables but otherwise motor fitment was the easiest part of the build.
Battery Fitment
Added a couple of mounts to the frame to bolt the battery on. One battery extension cable required.
Drivetrain
Stock sprocket fitted fine, just made a custom chain deflector to keep the chain off the battery.
Custom
Made a custom 3D printed display bracket to change the orientation of the display. Also made a cable duct to hide the cable junctions. Custom chin deflector.
