This bike was built for Lekkie and Converted staff member Cushla as her daily commuter. Fair to say it’s an awesome example of how a modern touring bike can be converted with a high power motor and all the Lekkie bling.
Motor Fitment
Due to the press-fit BB86 (41x86mm BB) it required a Lekkie BB86/92Adapter to fit the 68mm motor. The motor juts fit through without needing to modify the cable duct under the downtube.
Battery
DP6 battery mounted to bottle cage mounts on downtube.
Drivetrain
Lekkie Bling Ring 01/02 42T PRO was fitted with no spacers to give a good chainline. Lekkie Drivecover 01/02 in Slick and Lekkie Buzz Bars 160mm Left Offset with Slick extractor caps brings the build together.
Due to the drop bar setup we designed and printed a bracket to allow the display to fit.
